Art & Design
  • Head of Department : Mrs. T. O'Horan

In the highly visual world in which we live, an appreciation and understanding of art, craft and design is essential. Making sense of images, whether they are advertisements or paintings hung in galleries, enriches our experience and enables us to make informed judgements. Engaging in the making of art, craft or design not only develops skill on a practical level, but can promote spiritual and social development, as well as understanding diverse cultural beliefs.
