The department is based in three rooms, C4, C8 and C9. The department is well resourced with a range of textbooks and equipment in each classroom. We make use of the excellent ICT facilities in the department and ICT rooms. Each classroom is also equipped with an interactive “smartboard” and PC.

Maths is delivered by three full-time and one part-time teacher of Maths. The department has achieved excellent Key Stage 3 results over the last three years. KS4 results are improving and we hope the New Modular Maths will help students achieve their full potential.

The department is well stocked with a range of new textbooks for KS3 and KS4. At Key Stage 3, Assessing Pupi r ls’ Progress will be introduced, firming up teacher assessments.

-	Shape, Space and Measures.
-	Handling Data.
-	Using and Applying Maths.
